question about loading up GW - Guild Wars Forums

hey i was just wondering if there was anyway to get around the firewall at my college i think thats what is stopping me...i got to load GW and it wont connect to ANet and i know they blocked the ports here but is there anyway around that??? if anyone could answer i would appriciate it

While I love this game, I don't see how playing it is worth taking a chance on getting kicked out of school.

You might want to rethink your priorities.

Ignore Chrisworld. Bypassing a school firewall is not illegal.
Frankly, I'd contact your school's IT department about it. I have NEVER heard of a school firewall blocking a video game (and by this I mean a college campus). I played GW all the time at college in my dorm. I know people who played CoH, WoW, etc all fine. I doubt its intentional.
